Infrastructure specialist SOLiD announced an exclusive partnership with Enterprise Wireless, a manufacturer’s representative firm, which will expand the former’s commercial presence in the North Central region of the United States.

The partnership combines Enterprise Wireless sales expertise with SOLiD’s solutions for 5G wireless communications. Through the partnership, Enterprise Wireless will represent SOLiD in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin.

“We are thrilled to partner with Enterprise Wireless,” said Mohammed Nemar, territory sales manager for the North Central region for SOLiD. “With our joint expertise and diverse portfolios, we will be able to deliver creative solutions to tackle today’s problems and tomorrow’s needs.”

“New wireless frequencies and class of services such as CBRS and 5G, as well as LTE coverage expansion, are opening doors to new wireless enterprise DAS applications that seemingly will simplify everyday communication interactions and drive efficiencies,” said Mark Harnen, president of Enterprise Wireless. “SOLiD’s indoor and outdoor DAS platforms are leading edge and poised to address these opportunities as they arise. Our new relationship with SOLiD strategically fits with our mission of bringing innovative solutions towards meeting our customer’s wireless coverage and capacity needs for the Great Lakes region of the U.S.”

Enterprise Wireless is a technical sales manufacturer’s representative company which provides technical sales and support for customers in the Great Lakes region. The firm provides support to wireless carriers, system integrators, distributors, architectural and engineering firms, site acquisition companies, enterprise businesses and various real estate property owners.

Last week, SOLiD formed an exclusive partnership with K-C Marketers, a manufacturer’s representative firm, with the aim of expanding its presence in the Rocky Mountains and Desert Southwest region.

Through the partnership, K-C Marketers will represent SOLiD in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.

Earlier this month, SOLiD announced its new RocketWAVE 5G mmWave repeaters based on Intel mDR and FPGA technologies to address coverage challenges in high band spectrum.  The license of the Intel technology enhances SOLiD’s prior investment and development of 5G mmWave repeater technology.  The company noted that there are three primary use-cases for enhancing coverage with 5G mmWave repeaters:  mobile outdoor urban, mobile in-building, and fixed-wireless access.

SOLiD said that outdoor urban 5G mmWave mobile coverage faces challenges resulting from reduced range and easily obstructed high band signals.  RocketWAVE 5G mmWave repeaters overcome these limitations by extending coverage distance and retransmitting signals around obstructions, which reduces capital expenditures by decreasing the required number of 5G cell sites.
