JMA Wireless provides DAS for Osage Casino and Hotel in Tulsa

JMA Wireless says that its TEKO distributed antenna system has been installed at the Osage Casino and Hotel complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

JMA Wireless said that the installation has been carried out by system integrator Longent, LLC.

JMA Wireless’ TEKO DAS was deployed in fourteen weeks. The company highlighted that the biggest challenge was installing into a venue that was still under construction, as well as meeting the goal of being on-air for the inauguration.

?We are confident our choice of the JMA/TEKO solution and Longent as the integrator provides our guest with outstanding cellular coverage,? said Joe Roybal, CIO of the Osage Casino and Hotel.

JMA Wireless? system currently supports two carriers and two bands, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz, with the modularity to support two more carriers in the coming year.

The TEKO DAS provides cellular coverage and capacity for indoor and outdoor environments. One of its main components, the rack-mounted master unit, combines different high-speed wireless technologies, such as LTE and UMTS, with multiple bands to serve the various needs of the environment. The TEKO DAS can introduce new services or enhance existing technology without any major system upgrades, JMA siad.
