Delta, which focuses on power and thermal management, unveiled a new portfolio of energy-efficient solutions for smart buildings at the Hannover Messe 2019 exposition.

The company – together with its subsidiaries LOYTEC and VIVOTEK – is currently showing at the exposition its latest smart building management solutions, which range from surveillance systems to 3D people counting systems, smart LED lighting and control solutions for third-party HVAC and sunblind systems.

The LOYTEC L-ROC Room Controller is a room automation system based for lighting, temperature and sunblind control, and occupancy detection.

VIVOTEK’s fisheye network camera is an all-in-one surveillance solution that offers 180° panoramic view with a wall mount, or 360° surround views with zero blind spots with its ceiling mount.

Delta said that this latter solution is ideal for monitoring indoor open areas in airports, banks, shopping malls and more.

“By specializing in energy efficient management, Delta is enabling IoT-based solutions for smart buildings, smart manufacturing, as well as green ICT and energy infrastructure, which are the foundations of sustainable cities,” said Dalip Sharma, Delta’s president for the Europe, Middle East & Africa region.

“This is how we have integrated our EV charging solutions and energy storage systems to facilitate energy-resilient e-mobility in key venues, such as the Avion Shopping Mall in Bratislava, Slovakia. Hannover Messe represents an ideal opportunity to both display our offerings for smart cities and to meet the people and authorities responsible for creating them,” Sharma said.

The company provides building automation solutions to integrate the various building systems such as air conditioning, lighting, energy, water supply and drainage, elevators, electricity, and access control, through IoT networking technologies. Delta specializes in building control integration services, including comprehensive sensing, control, management products, project plan and design services, as well as system engineering and maintenance. The firm’s  open platform integrates monitoring and control of all building systems, such as air conditioning, lighting, electromechanical, surveillance and fire systems, and IoT-based information convergence and analysis.
