In-building wireless enables new revenues and savings

ExteNet, SOLiD, Zinwave, Verizon talk in-building wireless

Industry experts Bill DelGrego, vice president of Business Development at ExteNet Systems, Scott Willis, CEO of Zinwave, Dennis Rigney, vice president of Sales, SOLiD and Donnie Kruse, senior manager, at Network Implementation at Verizon Wireless, discuss the challenges and opportunities for commercial real estate owners and managers surrounding the changing landscape in the provision of robust in-building wireless connectivity in the workplace.  

Topics discussed include strategies for overcoming challenges posed by the lack resources from the carrier-side towards the provision of robust cellular signals inside of commercial office buildings and how the increasing demand for cellular connectivity from the deployment of Big Data, IoT, and cloud-based systems are re-shaping commercial real estate tenant demands for mobile connectivity in the enterprise marketplace.

 



Experts across the mobility connectivity ecosystems underscore the importance of fiber-based infrastructure in future-proofing commercial real estate buildings and the importance for building owners to educate themselves about the various connectivity solutions as a means of maintaining market differentiation and competitiveness in the commercial estate sector.

Scott Willis, CEO of Zinwave, discussed how the onus for the providing cellular connectivity is shifting towards the building owners and how they can best prepare themselves for a future proofing their properties.

Dennis Rigney, vice president of Sales at SOLiD, a manufacturer of OEM mobility antenna systems discusses how tenant demand is driving the market for better coverage from an OEM perspective and availability of tools to solve connectivity problems.

Bill DelGrego, vice president of  Business Development, ExteNet Systems shares advice for building owners to navigate the technology choices to cellular wireless connectivity and how to monetize their investments through increased rents and selling capacity back to carriers.

Donnie Kruse, senior manager of Network Implementation at Verizon Wireless expands on the carrier-side perspective on how to provide cellular coverage through as partnerships and collaborations with building owners.
