Parity Technology Solutions acquires Hotspot International

Combined company will provide Wi-Fi and other technologies primarily to the hospitality segment

Parity Technology Solutions, a hospitality technology company with operations in the U.S. and Canada, acquired Hotspot International, a hotel ?turnkey? solutions provider with services in Mexico, the U.S., Central America and the Caribbean.

Parity is a single-source, managed technology provider serving the hospitality, multi-dwelling, healthcare, and retail center markets.

The acquisition of Hotspot International enhances Parity?s product and service line to now include a comprehensive integrated solution that leverages the rXg platform developed by RGNets. The implementation of micro-segmentation through auto-generated Dynamic VLANs and PANs provides a more efficient and secure network, as well as a better guest experience, the company said.

Their WiFi Tracking Function allows participating guests to receive special offers depending on their location on the property. The benefits to the hotel include reduced operating costs and increased sales. These and other features from Hotspot International will soon be available to Parity Technology Solutions? customer base.

Orlando Phillips, president of Parity Technology Solutions said, ?Our acquisition of Hotspot International complements us perfectly. We wanted a company that was founded on honesty and reliability, has an established brand loyalty as evidenced by their major hotel certifications, and also provides us the opportunity to expand our presence in South and Central America.?

?The industry is evolving away from segmented technology where multiple vendors deliver separate solutions. This siloed approach no longer works. It?s costly and inefficient. The merger between Parity?s and Hotspot International drives our direction as a single-solution, single-point-of-contact provider. Our converged networks reduce operating costs to our hotel customers, provide greater efficiency, and seamlessly integrate all technology services,? said Louis Miller, founder and CEO of Hotspot International. Hotspot International will continue running in its own entity as a subsidiary of Parity Technology Solutions.

Parity Technology Solutions is a single-source hospitality technology provider servicing over 1,600 hotels worldwide.

Hotspot International (HSI) is a High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA) provider which works with major hotel chains including AM Resorts, IHG, Marriott, and ILG, as well as agreements with independent brands such as Pueblo Bonito, Grupo Vidanta, Eurostars, Grupo Real Turismo (Camino Real and Quinta Real).
